Allowed Items
You can put most types of items or waste in our skips but there are still materials that are banned from them. This is down to certain items not being allowed to mix with others in the container. Read below to find out what types of materials we can and can't accept in our skips.

- Soft Furnishings (mattresses, chairs, sofas)
- Soil and Garden Cuttings (grass, bushes and branches)
- Ceramic Wear
- Large Pieces of Glass
- Clay (only small pieces)
- Debris, Rubble and Bricks
- Office Items (chairs, desks, cabinets)
- Bed Frames
- Floor and Wall Tiles
- Tables
- Windows and Door Frames
- Paper, Cardboard & Card (and other packaging waste)
- Construction & Renovation Waste (tarmac and concrete too)
- Scrap Metal (any amount)
- Road Salt
- Scrap Carpets & Flooring
- General Waste
- Bathroom Goods (toilets, showers & basins)
- Kitchen Waste
- Roots and Leaves From Trees
- Excess DIY Waste
- Wood
What We Can't Accept
- Toxic, Hazardous or Corrosive Waste
- Waste Food
- Skin Irritants
- Explosives
- WEEE (electrical goods)
- Asbestos
- Sharp Items (knives)
- Faeces (animal and human)
- Batteries
- Medical Waste (syringes, needles, bandages)
